Power-Up Kits

AXT Turbo has a range of Turbo systems and upgrade kits designed to Power-up your factory Turbo vehicle. Over recent years, it has become apparent the the "original equipment" manufacturing has been dedicated to providing very "cost-effective" turbochargers, compromising their own power potential and also long term turbo durability.

As most owners will find, you will still be having problems trying to pull heavy loads "off the line", boats out of ramps and general un-drivability off-boost.

AXT Power-up's are not only designed to provide better overall power, but also a much more usable torque curve, especially down low.

 

AXT offers various "Stage" upgrades :

Generally Stage 1 includes external upgrades , such as boost controllers and exhaust system upgrades.

Stage 2 includes Intercooler Upgrades and additional power-up components.

Stage 3 is a complete Turbocharger upgrade, which in some cases includes a new high flow AXT Manifold.

Most late model electronically controlled turbo diesels require additional engine management upgrades. Many aftermarket modifiers rely solely on basic "plug-in drive-away" type modules to provide instant power increases. These units do provide power increases, however these are at the expense of ultimate engine life, as all these units can do is supply more fuel. Obviously to maintain good fuel/air mixture ratio's , more air is required, and a greater volume of burnt gases also needs somewhere to go.

 

At AXT Turbo, we combine the best of both physical component upgrades and also appropriate TUNEABLE engine management upgrades.

ECU ( Engine Control Unit ) upgrades , where required are included in Stage 2 or 3 upgrade paths.
